A 41-year-old Redmond man was hospitalized Wednesday afternoon when he was rear-ended while driving his motorcycle westbound on SR-520 in Bellevue, ejecting him into another vehicle in front of him.
According to the Washington State Patrol, Jun Chao Lin was westbound on SR-520 near I-405 when he slowed for traffic along with a Chrysler Intrepid in front of him. A 24-year-old Sammamish driver behind him is alleged to have rear-ended Lin in her Mitsubishi Galant, ejecting him and pushing his Kawasaki into the vehicle ahead of him. Bellevue Fire Department reports the man was transported to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries. No one else was injured in the collision.
