The 520 Tolling Implementation Committee will hold an open house Aug. 6 at Bellevue City Hall, 450 110th Ave. N.E.

The meeting is one of several in the Puget Sound area designed to get information and input about how tolls can help pay for a new 520 bridge between Seattle and Bellevue. The meetings will provide information about four tolling options evaluated by the committee, including comparisons of forecasts of bridge funding raised by different toll rates and changes in traffic patterns.

The meeting begins at 5 p.m., with a formal presentation at 6 p.m.

The Legislature established the 520 Tolling Implementation Committee this year. A Web site, www.build520.org, provides more information on the committee’s work.

A final report is due to the governor and Legislature in January 2009.
