K-9 unit activity causes temporary street closures

A Police K-9 unit caused several streets in the Eastgate neighborhood north of Bellevue College to be temporarily blocked off Wednesday afternoon during an investigation into an alleged assault.

The street closure was necessary to allow the K-9 unit to move through the area, including streets, safely. No suspect was located and officers are uncertain whether an actual assault occurred.
