Blood drive set Saturday as part of Eagle Scout project

A blood drive will be held Saturday, Jan. 25 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Factoria. The event is part of an effort by Eugene Hong of Bellevue to earn the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest honor that can be awarded to a Boy Scout.

Hong hopes to attract 50 donors for the drive.

Anyone age 16 or older is eligible to donate. Those who are age 16 or 17 can only donate with a permission form from the blood center signed by their parents. The form can be downloaded.

More information about times is available by contacting Eugene at or calling or texting 425-495-0483 with their name, contact information, and desired time to donate.

The church is located at 4315 129th Place S.E., Bellevue.
