Police say four suspects turned themselves in and credit identification of the suspects with several tips that came in soon after information was released to the media.

UPDATE, Jan. 14 11:53 a.m.:
Police have identified the fifth suspect as 19-year-old Corie Taylor Jackson. Jackson is wanted for attempted robbery in the second degree and theft in the second degree.

Original Story:

Bellevue Police are seeking the public's help in identifying five suspects believed to have been the same people who attempted to rob Walmart customers in the parking lot of the store's Kelsey Creek location on Jan. 2.

One suspect, a black man in his late teens to early 20s, is alleged to have grabbed a shopper as he was about to enter the store and was shoved back.

Two shoppers in their late 50s to early 60s were also accosted while exiting the store, police report, with a second suspect fitting a similar description as the first alleged to have tried to steal a necklace from one of their necks. He is alleged to have tried to grab the second woman's purse and then her necklace, causing her to fall to the ground. She reported biting the suspect's hand and an unidentified shopper came in and punched the suspect.

This caused the three male suspects in the parking lot to attack the Samaritan shopper, who fought them until they fled the scene. The police have provided video stills and descriptions of the three men and two women suspects, the latter alleged to have waited in a red van in the parking lot.

Suspect 1: Dark-skinned male in his late teens to early 20s, about 5-foot-six-inches, 140 pounds, wearing a blue North Face hooded jacket, light colored beanie hat, baggy denim jeans and white and black tennis shoes.

Suspect 2: Dark-skinned male in his late teens to early 20s, about five-foot-five-inches, 140 pounds, wearing a black North Face hooded sweatshirt, baggy denim jeans and black tennis shoes. Possible bite mark on hand.

Suspect 3: Light-skinned male, in his late teens to early 20s, about 5-foot-seven-inches, 135 pounds, wearing a black hooded coat and black pants.

Suspect 4: Dark-skinned female in her late teens to early 20s with a heavy build, about 5-foot-two-inches to 5-foot-seven-inches, wearing a short-sleeved black shirt, dark pants, and black shoes (driver of van).

Suspect 5: Dark-skinned female in her late teens to early 20s with a thin build, about 5’ 2” to 5’ 7”, wearing a tan coat, blue jeans, and white shoes.

If anyone has any information or can identify any of the above suspects please contact Detective Jenny Robertson at 425-452-6050. Police would also like the unknown male shopper who acted as a Good Samaritan to contact the Bellevue Police.
