Black eye Friday at Bellevue Square

Bellevue police responded to a shoplifting call at Bellevue Square on Black Friday after Kemper Security reported a man in his 20s punching one of their staff when approached about stealing from a mall retailer and then running away.

Officers were unable to locate the man, who is described as a white male weighing about 200 pounds and wearing a blue Northface jacket and blue jeans, according to police.
