Several Bellevue construction projects were shut down last week following a strike by members of the fire-sprinkler installers union.

Bellevue projects included The Bravern, Bellevue Towers and City Center Plaza.

A union spokesman said the union struck sprinkler contractors after their contract expired.

Issues in the contract negotiations include the length of a new contract, wages and working conditions.

No new negotiating sessions were scheduled as of the Bellevue Reporter’s deadline Thursday.
