Medina Police responded to a report in late May that a suspicious person was reportedly rummaging through the medicine cabinet of a home during an open house. When confronted, the subject quickly left the residence. Medina officers contacted the subject, who was uncooperative.

Police say similar incidents involving this same subject have occurred numerous times on the Eastside. The subject attends open houses under the guise that he is a real estate agent who is new to the business. Once inside, the subject attempts to steal prescription medications from the bathroom.

Local law enforcement and the real estate community are aware of this subject, however police note the situation is a good reminder to safeguard valuables and medications whenever strangers are in your home.
