Interlake musicians win

Interlake High School music students were winners in a recent contest.

Justin Almazan placed first in viola in the Eastshore League, which consists of 13 schools. Also, Emily Hanson was first alternative in cello and Peter Cole was second alternative in tuba.

Interlake’s “Born to be Brass” placed second alternative in large brass ensemble. The group consists of Peter Cole (tuba), Patrick Harvey (trumpet), Marcella McDonald (French horn), Dano Morrison (trombone) and John Northey (trumpet).
