Medina Detectives are currently investigating a residential burglary that occurred between Thursday May 22 and Monday May 26.

Police says someone forcefully entered a residence in the 300 block of Overlake Drive East while the homeowners were away for the weekend. The suspect(s) smashed a small window panel in the front door, then reached through to unlock the door and enter the home. No alarm activation occurred.

The homeowner has confirmed that electronics were removed from the home, however an estimated value of the loss has yet to be determined.
