Bellevue PD busts ID theft ring

The Bellevue Police Department announced an ID theft ring bust this morning, aided by department detectives. Four men and one 15-year-old female were arrested by Bellevue SWAT on a search warrant in West Seattle.

Neighbors of the residence behind the arrest told PD they'd been suspicious of activity for some time. Several bags of evidence--including items from identity theft victims in Bellevue and the Eastside--were collected at the scene and will be processed in the coming weeks.
