Medina man’s good fortune to benefit Humane Society
January 4, 2013 · 5:10 PM
Dwight Russell's luck is going to the dogs.
The Medina resident was the winner a Dec. 24 drawing for a new Canon 6D DSLR complete with 24-105mm lens from Bellevue's Omega Photo. But since Russell just bought a new camera and liked it just fine, he's asking Omega to sell the camera and give the proceeds to the Bellevue-based Seattle Humane Society, his favorite charity. He and his wife, Barbara, have supported the organization over the years and they have a cat, which they adopted from the Humane Society.
The brand new camera is available for purchase at Omega Photo. Should there be more than one willing purchaser, Omega will take the highest offer in order to further benefit the Humane Society.
Omega Photo will contribute a free one on one 1 hour instruction with the purchase of the camera and a set of 4x6 prints as well.
Omega recently re-located to 210-105th Ave. NE and is part of a group of stores behind the downtown Safeway. Omega can be contacted at 425-455-2126.
