Attempted burglaries in Medina, Clyde Hill

December 26, 2012 · 1:41 PM

A Medina resident heard someone knocked at the front door of their home near Northeast 22nd Street and 78th Avenue Northeast on Wednesday, Dec. 26, at 6:45 a.m., and then shortly later louder pounding ion the front door. After yelling out, the resident heard a vehicle drive away.

No one gained entry to the home, but there was some damage to the front door as someone had attempted to force the door open.

At about 8:35 a.m., Clyde Hill had a similar incident in the area of Northeast 25th and 94th Avenue Northeast.

As in the Medina case, there was first a knock at the door before there was an attempt to force entry. The person(s) were scared off by noise from the resident before they gained entry to the home.
