Suspect sought in strong-arm robbery

The Bellevue Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect involved in a strong arm robbery Nov. 26 that occurred in the 10100 block of Northeast Eighth Street at approximately 4:30 p.m. A man confronted a woman on the NW corner, outside Bellevue Square and forcibly stole her purse. The suspect was last seen running across Northeast Eighth Street.

The 30-year-old Eastside resident was not transported for any injuries at the time of the incident. The victim’s description of the suspect aided detectives in rendering the depicted sketch.

The suspect was described as a bi-racial male, approximately 18 years of age, 5’6’ tall, 140 pounds, black hair/brown eyes, wearing a gray hooded sweater and baggy pants.
