Bellevue Police investigation complete; command review in process
November 5, 2012 · 5:27 PM
The administrative investigation into allegations of inappropriate behavior at a Seahawks game in September involving three Bellevue Police officers was completed on Nov. 1. The investigation is now under command review.
Bellevue Police Chief Linda Pillo has requested her command staff to have their recommendations to her by Nov. 9th at which time she will review the case and their recommendations.
During her review, the chief will decide if there were any policy violations and if so, what appropriate discipline to impose. The officers will be notified of the chief’s decision.
If the chief intends to impose discipline, the officers have a right to a Loudermill (due process) hearing. At that hearing, the officer may present their views on the incident and the proposed discipline.
The public will be notified once the entire process is complete.
