520 closures scheduled

State Rout 520 will be closed from Montlake Boulevard in Seattle to I-405 in Bellevue Oct. 19 at 11 p.m. through Oct. 21 at noon, to allow crews to work on the road.

"During the closure, crews will complete several key pieces of work, including setting 34 massive concrete girders for the 84th Avenue Northeast lidded overpass and shifting eastbound lanes near Evergreen Point Road to the north," according to a press release from the Department of Transportation.

The bridge will also be closed Nov. 16 through 19.
