Cartoon commuting comes to Bellevue
June 2, 2008 · Updated 12:41 PM
Commuting may not be a laughing matter these days, but it could be featured in a cartoon.
A new website with tons of information about travel options to and from Bellevue has launched a viewer-inspired cartoon series by noted artist Ellen Forney. Whether your idea of a dream commute is by pogo stick or flying carpet, people can visit chooseyourwaybellevue.org and share it.
Every two weeks noted Forney will select a submittal as inspiration for the next installment of Going My Way!
The cartoons will be based on suggestions from visitors to the one-stop travel options resource.
Workers, students and employees in Bellevue also are encouraged to sign up for the Commute Connections newsletter to receive quarterly updates from the new site.
