Two-vehicle accident in Overlake area | Correction

September 15, 2012 · 6:10 PM

Apparent miscommunication between the Bellevue Reporter and the Bellevue Police Department resulted in an error in a photo caption about a two-vehicle accident Sept. 11 at Northeast 24th Street and 164 Avenue Northeast. The correct information is that the driver of a white van, heading west, became blinded by the sun and collided with a mini-van heading south. Bellevue firefighters had to cut the driver out of the mini-van. Four people were taken to Overlake Hospital Medical Center. The Bellevue Reporter regrets the error.
