Your Local Market closed for good

September 3, 2012 · Updated 2:26 PM

Less than a year after opening, Bellevue's downtown organic hybrid grocery store has closed down.

The store, Your Local Market, has been closed since, June, but employees said it was only for a remodel. But owner Jason Brown announced Thursday in an email to customers that the store will not reopen.

The store sits on a lot at the corner of Northeast Fourth Street and Bellevue Way, which will be the main lot for expansion of Kemper Development's Lincoln Square.

Brown said when he was preparing to open the store he hoped it would become a part of the development.
