Students from Eastside Catholic were honored for their exceptional work in photography at this year's Washington State High School Photography Competition, held in Seattle on Thursday, June 7.

Of the more than 4,000 entries, 87 schools and 1,800 participants, Eastside Catholic received three select finalist ribbons. A select finalist ribbon states that photograph was in the top five percent of its category. The ribbons were awarded to Bellevue residents Caitlin Courshon (for "Animals") and Austin Porcello (for "Color"). Courshon was also recognized as a select finalist in the Documentary category.
