Troopers cite cell-phone drivers

Washington State Patrol troopers cited 370 drivers in King County in the month of September for talking on their cell phone while driving. A total of 43 drivers were cited for texting while driving.

More than half of those drivers received a $124 ticket for the illegal cell phone use.

Troopers encourage drivers to use a hands free device to help keep the focus on the roadway.
