Police have arrested a suspect in the shooting of 28-year-old Bellevue man early Monday morning.

At approximately 1:30 a.m. Monday police responded to a call of an injured man at the 12700 block of Southeast 42nd Street. Officers encountered a dead man in his apartment who had been shot.

During the investigation Monday a Renton resident returned to the scene and turned himself in. The suspect was still wearing blood-stained clothes when he turned himself in. He gave police a gun, likely the one used in the incident the night before.

Officers arrested the man on first degree manslaughter, with charges pending from the King County Prosecutors.
