Student from Medina studies in Spain

Megan R. O'Konek from Medina, a student at St. Olaf College in Minnesota, is pursuing her academic studies at the University of Seville in Spain from January to June.

Among all baccalaureate institutions in the nation, St. Olaf sent the most students to study abroad during the 2008–09 academic year, according to the Open Doors 2010 Report on International Educational Exchange. The school offers nearly 90 study abroad programs in 48 countries, including Global Semester, Term in Asia, and Term in the Middle East.

O'Konek graduated from Munich International School. Her parents are Joseph and Linda O'Konek
