The Washington State Department of Transportation is urging drivers to prepare for overnight construction delays on I-405 in Bellevue this week.

Monday and Thursday night, all northbound lanes between Northeast Sixth and Northeast 12th streets will be funneled into one lane by midnight for construction. Between midnight and 4 a.m. crews will perform a rolling slowdown to allow them to quickly move the signs around. For details about this and upcoming closures, visit WSDOT's construction update website.

The work is part of the Bellevue Braids project that aims to ease congestion near on State Route 520.
