Icy streets and La Nina chill are not going to be slowing down fashionistas and holiday shoppers this Black Friday.

Warmer, wetter weather is forecasted for Thanksgiving afternoon, which should make downtown even more welcoming for early-morning shopping the next day. According to the National Weather Service, Nov. 26 weather has a 70 percent chance of rain and a high near 44, a real jump from the below-freezing weather this week in the 20s.

"We're always prepared for the weather," said Jennifer Leavitt, vice president of marketing. "In the winter, we do a really good job on our property, making sure sidewalks are accessible."

The Bellevue Collection will be closed for Thanksgiving. For Black Friday, Bellevue Square will be open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Bellevue Place is open 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Lincoln Square will be open 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. For a full listing of winter shopping hours, go to www.bellevuecollection.com.
