Miley Cyrus concert may slow traffic this weekend
November 18, 2010 · Updated 10:51 AM
A Saturday afternoon Miley Cyrus concert in the former Safeway parking lot downtown as part of the opening of the Bellevue Square Microsoft Store may lead to lane closures on Bellevue Way.
At the very least, motorists could encounter slowdowns as a result of the 4 p.m., 45-minute show in the vacant parking lot at the northeast corner of Bellevue Way and Northeast Fourth Street.
A large number of pedestrians could slow traffic on Bellevue Way and other streets in the area. The city may temporarily close the northbound curb lane of Bellevue Way for pedestrian safety.
All concert tickets will be provided in advance of the show. No tickets will be available at the gate.
