Bellevue police arrested a 24-year-old Redmond man they say committed a string of burglaries on the 4000 block of 120th Avenue Southeast Wednesday.

Police said in a press release that one of the robbery victims saw the man leaving a home and tried to confront him. The suspect pulled a gun on the victim and left in a blue Nissan.

The victim provided description of the suspect, his vehicle and the car's license plate to police, who traced it to a home in Redmond.

Police from Bellevue and Redmond monitored the home, found the suspect and took him in to custody.

Police found merchandise reported missing in several residential burglaries earlier that day. The suspect confessed to the incident in which he was identified and was taken to King County Jail for first-degree burglary and second-degree assault.
