Bellevue Police arrest man who shot at day laborers

Bellevue Police arrested a man Sunday afternoon who allegedly fired an Airsoft gun at a group of day laborers at the Bellevue Best Buy store. No one was injured.

Police responded to reports of shots being fired at about 1 p.m.

According to the police report, none of the witnesses could pinpoint any one person who the shots were being fired at, but the entire crowd agreed that they were in fear of being shot.

Police called the man suspected of doing the shooting and talked him into returning to the site where he was identified by witneses. He later was was booked into the King County Jail for investigation of first-degree assault and is being held in lieu of $200,000 bail, according to a story on the Seattle Times website.
