Bellevue Arts Museumis now accepting applications for 2009-10 Docent Training Program.

Docents are volunteers who act as guides, teachers, art enthusiasts and as a link between the public and the museum. Docents prepare and present tours to groups from schools and the community as well as the general public. They also are available to answer questions for visitors in the galleries. The goal of the docent is to enrich viewers’ museum experiences, engage their interest and develop art appreciation.

Docent training is offered once a year starting in September and completing in early June.
