What’s happening in the Wine & Dine scene
Mike Hillyer has returned to Schwartz Brothers Restaurants and will serve as Executive Chef at Daniel’s Lake Union.
Hillyer started with Schwartz Brothers Restaurants in July of 1996 as Chef at Benjamin’s on Lake Union.
El Gaucho has named John Broulette as executive chef, Steve Cain as chef de cuisine, and David Scherling as general manager.
El Gaucho will open at City Center Plaza (at Northeast Sixth Street and 110th Avenue Northeast this month.
Searstar has won the Best Wine List (301 – 1000 selections) and for Best Bar Program in the 2008 Crystal Beverage Awards.
