Gardens

Bellevue Botanical Gardens: 1 p.m. June 14 and July 12, free Plant ID tours. Garden includes 36 acres of perennial borders, Japanese, Waterwise, ground cover and alpine rock gardens and trails through native woodland and wetland areas. Free tours, 2 p.m. Saturdays-Sundays through October. Hours: Dawn-dusk daily. Visitors’ center hours: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Cost: Free. 12001 Main St., Bellevue. 425-451-3755 or www.bellevuebotanical.org.

Classes

Bellevue Nursery Master Gardener Clinics: 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturdays-Sundays through September. Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer gardening questions. Bellevue Nursery, 842 104th Ave. S.E. 425-454-5531 or www.bellevuenursery.com.

Garden d’Lights Work Parties:Various dates through June. Scheduled hands-on opportunities to help create, repair and maintain the displays used in Bellevue Botanical Garden’s seasonal Garden d’Lights. Open to those who have taken at least one class previously. Cost: Free. Bellevue Botanical Gardens, 12001 Main St. 425-451-3755.

Volunteers

Bellevue Botanical Garden: 11 a.m.-4 p.m. July 13, volunteers needed to help dig, divide and pot perennials during “Dig for Treasures” event. Volunteers can take home a perennial. Ongoing: Adult volunteers are needed to care for the Waterwise Garden at the Bellevue Botanical Garden. Volunteer days are 1-3 p.m. the first and third Wednesdays of the month.
