Local designer to debut at Nordstrom
November 30, 2012 · 12:21 PM
NBC "Fashion Star" and Eastside resident Lizzie Parker made quite the splash at this year's Bellevue Fashion Week, and now the talented designer is bringing her work to Nordstrom.
Parker's designs were showcased first on the runway during the opening night Independent Designer Runway Show, catching the attention of Vogue’s own Anne Vincent, Director of Events and Merchandising, who then wore Parker's dress on-stage at Front Row Fashion presented by Vogue.
Now called the “Anne” dress in Vincent's honor, the dress features a gossamer blouson bodice that sways softly atop the side-tie skirt of a gauzy maxi dress. It will be sold for $238, along with a shorter version ($198), online and at Nordstrom Bellevue Square.
Parker will showcase the dresses during a special Trunk Show and Personal Appearance on Saturday, Dec. 1 from 1 to 3 p.m. on 2nd Floor in the Special Occasion department. The event is free and open to the public.
