Between Nov. 10 and 13, veterans and volunteers will be selling poppy pins at various QFC and Safeway grocery stores on the Eastside and the Bellevue Square Macy’s.

For the last century, the flower has been a symbol of remembrance for WWI. The annual poppy sale raises money for local VFW posts to help veterans in need.
