Event, donors help many kids

On behalf of the Eastside Baby Corner Board of Directors, volunteers, and staff, I would like to express my gratitude to all who helped make our Oct. 16 event a success.

On behalf of the Eastside Baby Corner Board of Directors, volunteers, and staff, I would like to express my gratitude to Tony Rehn, the staff at Evergreen Ford, Lincoln Corporation, and everyone that participated in the “Driven to Give” event they hosted on Oct. 16 to benefit Eastside Baby Corner.

Thank you also to Bill Krueger, Primo Kim and his band, Dori Monson, My Chef Lynn and Chef Ben of the Fall City Roadhouse for helping to make it a special event.

Local kids will have a better start in life because of the generosity of Lincoln and the event donors, and the new toys from the Toys for Kids foundation will fill birthday bags for months to come.

We truly cannot meet our mission of providing the basic necessities for children birth to age 12 in King County without our community coming together and supporting us.

Thank you to everyone that made this possible.

Renee Zimmerman, Eastside Baby Corner executive director
