Seven Bellevue students to perform at Seattle Children's Theatre summer session

Seven students from Bellevue are participating in the Seattle Children's Theatre Drama School Summer Season 2010.

The students, Nikki Norton, Caroline Ramsay, Skye McCaw, Mae Corley, Mackenzie Williams, Nick Pineda and Alison Kadavy have been selected to train with some of the top theatre professionals in the area.

During Summer Season, students experience an intense three-week rehearsal process that culminates in 3-4 live performances in front of a large audience.

Nikki, grade 12, will perform in Hair from Aug. 6-8. Skye, grade 6, will perform in BFG from July 15-17. Mae, grade 4, will perform in The Witches from July 15-17. Mackenzie, grade 6, will perform in The Witches from July 15-17. Nick, grade 10, will perform in The laramie Project from July 29-31. Caroline, grade 11, will perform in The Laramie Project from July 29-31. Alison, grade 12, will perform in the Young Actor Institute Showcase from Aug. 14-15.

About 300 students auditioned for the school, of which about 100 were accepted.
