Newport Covenant Church to perform 'Godspell'

Newport Covenant will present “Godspell" April 29 through May 1.

The production is based loosely on the Book of Matthew and parables of Jesus.

The Newport Covenant production is co-directed by the resident Director of Worship Ministries, Tom Frodsham and resident Writer/Drama Director, Vicki Walch. The production will be presented with a cast of 11, choral ensemble and live band.

"Godspell" will play at 7 p.m. April 29-30 and at 3 p.m. May 1.

The leading role of Jesus is portrayed by Scott Jones.

The production is appropriate for the entire family and the public is invited to attend. The performance is free with a free-will offering taken.

The church is located at 12800 S.E. Coal Creek Parkway, Bellevue.
