Laughs Comedy Spot in Kirkland will welcome comedian, actor and author Greg Behrendt on Jan. 23-24.
“Greg Behrendt’s Wake-up Call,” a show that taps into Behrendt's no-nonsense approach to relationships, premiered in January on SoapNet.
“He’s Just Not That Into,” the movie, opened in theaters nationwide in February and was America’s No. 1 movie. Behrendt’s second comedy DVD, “That Guy from That Thing,” was released in November.
Behrendt is the co-author of the three-million-copy bestseller, “He’s Just Not That Into You,” and established himself as a voice of reason and inspiration for people negotiating, and sometimes drowning in, the treacherous waters of romantic relationships. Co-authored with “Sex and the City” story editor, Liz Tuccillo, the book became the publishing phenomenon of the year after its release in September 2004. The book shot to the No. 1 slot on the bestseller lists worldwide, including The New York Times, Wall Street Journal and USA Today. Oprah Winfrey devoted two shows to Behrendt and the book’s message.
Performances will run at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Jan. 23-24 at Laughs Comedy Spot, 12099 124th Ave. N.E., Kirkland. Tickets are $20-$30. For information, visit www.laughscomedy.com or call 425-823-6306.
