'Messiah' returns with BPO and Bellevue Chamber Chorus | Discounts available to active military and veterans

The Bellevue Philharmonic Orchestra (BPO) will present George Frideric Handel's "Messiah" at Bellevue's Westminster Chapel (13646 24th St.) Dec. 20 at 5 p.m. The BPO, under the direction of Michael Miropolsky, will join with the Bellevue Chamber Chorus, directed by Dr. Fred Lokken, for the event. Soloists will include Holly Boaz, soprano; Kathryn Weld, mezzo-soprano; Stephen Rumph, tenor; and Charles Stephens, baritone.

Four free tickets will be available for each family of active military personnel, and veterans can get two tickets for the price of one.

Tickets are otherwise $30 for general admission and $15 for students, and are available by calling 800-838-3006 or at www.bellevuephil.org.

Military families and veterans can call 425-455-4171 to take advantage of discounts.
