Works by Bellevue College art faculty on exhibit through Oct. 22

Works by Bellevue College (BC) art faculty will be exhibited in the college’s Gallery Space through Thursday, Oct. 22.

Faculty whose work will be exhibited include Ginny Banks, Ross Brown, Pat DeCaro, Lars Husby, Dale Lindman, Carolyn Luark, Victor Sandblom, Ron Tanzi, Linda Thomas, Eric Tomberlin, and emeritus faculty Ray Jensen and John Wesley.

Also included will be a special display of work by the late Bob Purser, the college’s first art instructor, who died earlier this month.

Purser joined the college when it opened in 1966 and guided the design of the program’s curriculum and facilities for 33 years.

Gallery Space is open to the public on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The gallery is closed on Fridays and Sundays.

Gallery Space is located in room D 271, above the Library Media Center on the south courtyard of the college’s main campus (3000 Landerholm Circle S.E., Bellevue, at the intersection of S.E. 28th St. and 148th Ave. S.E.).
