Seattle Art Museum sets family festival

The Seattle Art Museum will hold a family festival Feb. 16 to celebrate the opening of the museum's special exhibition Rembrandt, Van Dyck, Gainsborough: The Treasures of Kenwood House, London.

The event will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at SAM Downtown, 1300 First Ave., Seattle.

Those attending are invited to make their costume designs. In addition, there will be a family art adventure in the galleries, live performances, music and more.

The drop-in play date will include art making, kids tours, dancing and music. No reservation is required. For those who want to tour the Rembrandt, Van Dyck, Gainsborough: The Treasures of Kenwood House, London exhibition, there is an additional charge. Children 12 and under are always free).
