Bellevue resident to sing in Tribute to Bernstein
June 2, 2008 · Updated 1:16 PM
Lindsey Larson, of Bellevue, will perform with a select group of students in several performances entitled a Tribute of Bernstein at the Boston Pops Concert Series.
Larson, a 2006 graduate of Bellevue Christian High School, is a sophomore at the school, studying musical theater.
Larson will be singing Wrong Note Rag from the musical Wonderful Town as well as selections from West Side Story, On The Town and more.
She will be singing the National Anthem with this same group of singers on June 6 at Bostons Fenway Park prior to the Seattle Mariners vs. Red Sox game. This fulfills a dream to sing the National Anthem as a loyal Mariner fan at an away game.
Of course it would be nice to sing at a home game, she said, but even nicer to star on Broadway.
