Oil pastels on display at T'Latte

"The Lily Series" and other works in oil pastels by  artist Paula Chester Libes is open for viewing at T'Latte through the end of May.

The colorful artworks, a celebration of spring, are hung on the walls of T'Latte, a fine tea and coffee shop on the first floor of the Bogarte Condominiums off Main Street in Bellevue.

Libes is a resident of Mercer Island.  She received art degrees from SUNY at Stony Brook and from Bellevue College and has worked as a textile designer, colorist and interior designer.

The community is invited to meet the artist from 4-6 p.m. Saturday; and 4-6 p.m. May 28.

T'Latte is located at 37-103rd Ave. N.E., Suite B., 425-709-6868, open daily until 6 p.m.
