Piano concert to benefit Japan

The Russian Chamber Music Foundation of Seattle will hold a benefit concert for Japan at 7 p.m., Friday April 22 at Sherman Clay piano store (1000 Bellevue Way N.E.) in Bellevue.

Pianist Natalya Ageyeva will perform an all-Russian program with works by

The program will include works by Tchaikovsky, Scriabin, and Rachmaninov. Attendees will also see artwork dedicated to Japan painted by local children.

The suggested donation starts at $20 at the door and 100 percent of proceeds will go toward relief efforts. There will be a reception after the concert with pastries and drinks.
