The Downtown Bellevue Art and Park Walk on Saturday, May 22, will highlight more than 20 pieces of public art and points of interest. Walkers can choose six- or 10-kilometer routes featuring a variety of art in several locations, including the Northwest Arts Center, Meydenbauer Beach Park, Bellevue Downtown Park, City Hall and the Bellevue Arts Museum.
Participants can register the morning of the event at the Northwest Arts Center, 9825 NE 24th St, between 8 a.m. and noon, and must complete the walk by 3 p.m. The event is free for the general public and $3 for American Volkssport Association members seeking credit.
The Art and Park Walk is the second in a four-part series of park walks scheduled for this year. The walks promote physical fitness while highlighting the best of Bellevue’s art, parks and natural and historic sites.
