Applicants sought for library board

Applications are being taken for a vacancy on the Bellevue Regional Library Board, which serves as an advisory body to King County Library System.

The board is comprised of seven Bellevue residents appointed by the mayor with the concurrence of the City Council. Terms are four years and expire on May 31 of the last year of the term. No member can serve more than two consecutive terms.

Hard-copy versions of the Community Service Application are available from the City Clerk’s Office or the Service First desk in City Hall, as well as in the Bellevue Regional Library, the Lake Hills Library and the Mini City Hall at Crossroads Shopping Center.

Deadline for applications is by 5 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 30.
