Bike maintenance classes coming to Bellevue

The city of Bellevue is teaming up with the Cascade Bicycle Club to present a series of classes on bike maintenance at the South Bellevue Community Center (14509 SE Newport Way).

The classes take place from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the following Mondays:

• Nov. 2 – Fix a flat

• Nov. 16 – Chains and Derailleurs

• Nov. 23 – Brakes

Enrollment is $45 per class, or $120 for all three.

The site includes preferred routes, the city's pedestrian- and bicycle-transportation plan, a child bicycle safety brochure, a bike-rack map, and videos on multiple topics related to cycling.
