Discounted bike helmets offered

Seattle Children’s Hospital, Metropolitan Market, Pemco Insurance and Cascade Bicycle Club are teaming up to promote bike helmet safety.

People can buy a new, custom fit bike helmet for the discount price of $10 each, or they can bring in their own helmet for a fit check.

Sizes for toddlers through adults will be available for purchase while supplies last. Wearer must be present.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 6 at the Sand Point Metropolitan market parking lot, 5250 40th Ave. N.E., Seattle. More information is available at 206.987.2836.
