Pacific Sound Chorus is searching for women singers in the Bellevue area. Women of all ages, including female high school students, who enjoy singing are invited to attend the chorus’ weekly rehearsal at 7 p.m. on Tuesday evenings at the Stroum Jewish Community Center, 3801 E. Mercer Way in Mercer Island.
Those interested also are invited to take part in Acappella 101, a five-week vocal production class series that is incorporated into the chorus’s weekly Tuesday evening rehearsal schedule. Classes for Acappella 101 start on February 3 and continue through the month of March. Specific class instruction will be from 7:30-8:30 p.m. and are free.
Musical knowledge is not necessary to join — voice training and music education are provided. Any woman of average singing ability, with or without vocal training, will find a part that fits her voice range with the help of chorus directors and leaders.
More information is available at 425-820-9825 or 425-454-9808.
