Youth Eastside Services is asking companies, community groups and individuals to sponsor a family in need through the “Adopt-A-Family” program.

The annual holiday program matches sponsors with a family in need of basic necessities.

YES is accepting Adopt-A-Family sponsors through Nov. 15. Each sponsor is assigned a family and given a detailed wish list. Sponsors provide a new, unwrapped gift for each family member along with an article of clothing for each child to YES’ main office in Bellevue by Friday, Dec. 12.

YES Program Director Christina Church estimates that more than 85 families will ask for assistance.

YES serves kids and families coping with emotional distress, substance abuse and violence.

To sponsor a family, contact Christina Church at 425- 586-2314 or ChristinaC@YouthEastsideServices.org.
