Students, faculty and family members gathered around the flag pole at Tyee Middle School on Friday, October 3 to pay tribute to the passing of orchestra teacher, Heather DeHart.

A heather tree was planted beside the flag pole in her memory. DeHart, 38, died Sept. 27 in a boating accident on Lake Washington.
